Beliefs shift. Practices fall away. Questions surface without clear answers. You may feel disoriented, untethered, or quietly aware that something new is arriving, but not yet formed. At The Threshold is a space for these moments. Not to rush toward clarity, but to stay with what is unfolding.
At The Threshold is a space I provide to accompany you while we both listen deeply to your own life. Together we make room for doubt and questioning, spiritual awakening and reorientation, loss and letting go, curiosity, desire, and becoming. Spiritual direction and mentorship is not fixing, it’s helping you stay with yourself, putting our attention on the presence of the Divine in your life and trusting in the wisdom you already possess.

How it works
Our time is simple and spacious.
We meet - online or in my home office if you’re local - and begin with whatever is most present for you in that moment. I listen carefully, ask gentle questions, and help you uncover what is wanting to be heard. There is no agenda, no need to perform, no belief you need to hold, only an invitation to slow down, pay attention, and hear the truth within yourself.
Who this is for
Perhaps you are deconstructing or re-imagining your faith and what it means to you. Maybe you are exploring a spirituality outside of how you were raised or experiencing a spiritual awakening or shift. You may feel “between” two places or longing for a more honest and true expression of faith in your life without knowing how to get there. You do not need language for what you are experiencing, only a willingness to let it begin.
Meet Maggie
I am a trained spiritual director, former ministry leader, writer, and lifelong spiritual seeker. I love working with those whose spirituality is expanding, in whatever way that looks! I was raised Catholic and remain in Christian traditions, influenced by the ancient mystics, contemporary wisdom teachers, and intuitives of all faiths. I am affirming and find joy in providing a safe container for you to explore exactly who you are created to be. I live in Seattle with my husband, three teenagers, and one ornery dog.
Offerings
Spiritual direction happens over Zoom or in my home office if you are in the Seattle area and prefer meeting in person. We typically meet monthly for one hour. Sessions are $75. I offer a sliding scale for those who need it - just ask. Learn more about spiritual direction.

Spiritual Direction
Mentorship is spiritual direction intended to move you towards the growth you’re looking for. There is still deep listening, but also shared thoughts, resources, ideas, stories, and experiences. Sessions are $90. I offer a sliding scale for those who need it - just ask. Learn more about mentorship.
Group Direction
I facilitate group spiritual direction by request. If you have a group of three to four individuals interested in learning to listen deeply and be present with one another in an intentional way, let’s discuss! Email me or learn more.
